History of Active Edge Nutrition
In the Spring of 2005, personal trainers in the area were looking for the solution to poor eating habits of some of their clients who were training hard but not making the kind of progress with their fitness goals that they desired. They were missing a major ingredient; proper nutrition. The active edge meal program was created to meet those needs. We provide healthy, well balanced, pre-portioned meals that provide not only convenience, but great taste and proper nutritional values.

The Basics
Each week we provide a menu of 5 varietal, eclectic items. You turn in yor order and payment by Thursday afternoon to your contact or active edge representative. Your food is prepared fresh and available for pickup at Center Street Eats between 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. each Monday. The menu changes weekly. You may order between 10 and 20 meals or pick up individual meals on a first come, first served basis. We recommend you eat four active edge meals, Monday through Friday, for the greatest benefits. Your weekend meals are of your own choosing. But once you have eaten "clean" for a couple of weeks, your body won't let you make too many mistakes.
About Our Food
We use only the best, nutrient rich food sources in our meals. We balance lean protein with good sources of complex carbohydrates and plenty of colorful fibrous carbohydrates. We limit sodium and sugar and eliminate butter altogether in our recipes. We weigh each meal to ensure portion consistency. The basic weight control meal averages 300 calories. This plan is for those who are trying to shed pounds through maximum fat burning. The healthy maintenance meal plan consists of the same excellent food, just a slightly larger portion. This plan is recommended if you need more calories but are still trying to lose fat, maintain proper energy levels, and eat great.
